Modern-contemporary dance/ Danila Calabrese

During the class the participants will focus on the quality and decoding of the movement, giving space and interpretation to the single participant in the group. We start with a warm-up and go through different sequences and short choreography, exploring body techniques, focusing on the quality and meaning of the movement and giving own interpretation of the coreutical ensamble.
Danila Calabrese graduated from Dams-Performing art (Italy) in 2009 and since then she has been teaching dance for figure skaters, modern and contemporary dance, classical ballet. She studied in Spaziodanza (Bologna, Italy) and she attended several dance performances by Espressione Danza, a project by Arturo Canistra’ (Aterballetto). She even worked as soloist in a dance company and as freelancer. She has been living in Finland since 6 years, where she works as dance teacher and as freelancer. In Finland, she attends workshops for professional such as Susanna Leinonen, Natasha Lommi, Fornier Ortiz, Val Suarez, Aterballetto and Jarkko Mandelin. Her dance style is linear, descriptive, narrative with elements from different dance styles.
